We are getting ready to do a fun collage project based on the book Snowballs by Lois Ehlert. If you are not familiar with the book, this is its cover on the right.
The embellishments on each snow person and snow animal in the book are referred to as "good stuff." Please feel free to send in items for children to share when creating the project. Examples of "good stuff" include buttons, bottle caps, sunflower seeds, popcorn (popped and unpopped), coffee beans, raisins, uncooked pasta shapes, beans, small seashells, fabric scraps, felt, ribbon, small twigs, etc. Anything goes (but nothing too heavy, as we'll be gluing the items onto construction paper)!
