Students had the opportunity to visit a "tiny solids" station on Friday last week or Monday this week. They were asked to scoop, pile, and explore cornmeal and a variety of dried beans to see how these very small solid objects are like liquids in some ways (they pour, take on the shape of another container, etc.). Students seemed to enjoy exploring the different textures and made excellent observations!
