As part of a mini-unit on fall leaves, children completed a leaf book (which was sent home in their green folders today). Students enjoyed going outside to pick a special leaf for this project. They did several activities with their leaves, but measuring the length of the leaf with "click cubes" and testing to see how many pennies the leaf could hold before sinking in water were the definite favorites!
