Students were introduced to another part of our Reading Workshop this week--partner reading time. They are doing a wonderful job! Students learned about ways to read successfully with a partner, and they had time to practice and share about their experiences. Topics of this week's mini-lessons include getting ready to read with a partner, ways to read together (choral, echo, taking turns, etc.), and how to solve problems that may arise during partner reading. Next week, we will begin a new unit of study in reading about using reading strategies, and partners can help each other apply the strategies we practice in our mini-lessons!
