We just finished a unit of study in Writing Workshop, "Launching the Writing Workshop." To celebrate the end of each unit, students publish their writing. As I told students, our publishing starts simple and gets a bit fancier each time. Their published piece of writing will be at Open House tonight for you to see!
To celebrate students' great writing and hard work, we had a Writers' Celebration in our classroom today. Students from Miss Stevens' class visited, and we all shared our writing. Students read their writing to at least two students Miss Stevens' class. They were such great readers AND listeners! What a great way to end a great unit of study in writing!
