Blog Readership

I do not get very much feedback about this blog. Do people read it? It is useful? Do you like it? I have posted a poll about this blog on the right sidebar. Please respond if you have time. This will help me determine how much time to put towards this communication effort. If it is not useful or valuable, I will seek other means for communication. Thank you!

  2. I absolutely love your blog. It really makes me feel connected to what is going on in the classroom. I know exactly what is going on and the pictures are wonderful to see. I don't know when you find the time to do this, but it's amazing! Lilah also loves the blog. She loves seeing pictures of herself and her friends, and it often opens up conversations that she may not have started with me otherwise. It helps prevent the "what did you do at school today?" "I don't know" conversation. Thanks so much for all you do!

  3. Thanks for taking the time to leave a reply, Bobbie! It's good to know you're checking in regularly to see what's happeing in first grade. I've been blogging for a long time, so making updates isn't too hard and it isn't even TOO terribly time consuming. I like doing it, but I like it more knowing that there are people out there enjoying it. Enjoy your weekend!

  4. Personally, when I get the message telling me that there has been an update on the blog, I get excited! I feel a little ridiculous admitting that but I really do love reading your updates and seeing the pictures. It makes for some interesting dinner conversations and is a great way for the whole family to feel connected to what is going on in your classroom. I know that having two children takes up a lot of your time and we appreciate the fact that you do make the time to update the blog consistently when you could be spending the time with your family. :)

  5. I know that I don't count, but Joe's teacher blogs and I love reading it. I don't get a lot of feedback on my weekly posts, but I hear about how the parents enjoy reading my school blog and my other blogs (which are more well read) also don't always get a lot of comments. Being a blogger, I know how nice it is to get comments but don't take it personally if you don't get them. I am not going to vote on your poll so that it is just from your parents.

  6. I love reading the blog! It is a great way for me to connect to my child's learning. I don't read it as frequently as I would like to, but I whenever I get a chance or my kid reminds me we check it together. The pictures and text strengthen our conversations about her learning. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
