Students have been working VERY hard on building their stamina for reading during Read to Self time. Last week, I awarded the "Read to Self King" and "Read to Self King" awards twice. The award winners last week were Molly and Zachary (pictured below) and Sevino and Emily T. Way to stay focused on your reading! Keep up the great work! To win this award, students must do all the Read to Self jobs: 1. Get started right away, 2. Read the whole time, 3. Stay in one spot, and 4. Read quietly. As a class, we've gotten up to 11 Read to Self minutes when EVERYONE is doing their jobs. Hooray!
