Since we just finished our social studies/science theme (All About Me) and we are very close to beginning our next unit of study (Community Helpers), we took some time in between units to celebrate the beauty of fall in Vermont with some leaf art projects and books. Your children's AMAZING oil pastel and watercolor leaves are hanging in the hall, and we started a new leaf art project last week (see below). Leaf printing with paint sure is fun, and the finished products are gorgeous so far. I will post a picture of everyone's work once we are done. Happy Autumn!
Molly has been very interested in the foliage and picking up leaves to use in art projects lately, looks like lots of fun!! Cute girls!!
